What do you like to with Sophie? Talk about Minecraft
What do you like to do with Lyla? Play Whig Out
What's do you like to do with Violet? Playing with magnets
What do you want to do when you get older? Be a hair salon and nail salon person
What's your favorite animal? Cheetah, elephant, cat, and dog 
Who are your best friends?  Blake
What makes you happy? Playing with Lyla 
What makes you sad? When Sophie’s mean to me
What are you really good at? Figuring out directions

For Brielle's birthday, we had a strawberry angel food cake and went to the Build-A-Bear workshop. She loves gymnastics and got a gymnast leotard and a camera as gifts.

Sayings:

- (While driving) "Whoa, there was a dead deer back there!... or maybe it was a dead kangaroo!"

- "Well, I'm not happy that no one's happy!"

Violet Turns Four

Violet’s Interview

What's your favorite food? It’s really hard because I like every kind of food… let me think… watermelon! That was easy now!
What's your favorite thing to play with?  Babies… baby dolls
What's your favorite movie or show?  Chip and Potato
What's your favorite song? "Little Bunny Foo Foo” and “Let it Go”
What's your favorite book? Peppa Pig
What's your favorite color? Purple… easy
What's your favorite Bible story? Jesus  
What do you like to with Brielle? Play outside… there’s so many things I can think of with Brielle 
What do you like to do with Lyla? Play babies
What's do you like to do with Sophie? I do not like anything with Sophie  
What do you want to do when you get older? I want to be like you (Mom) 
What's your favorite animal? Baby horse 
Who are your best friends? Easy… Lawson and Georgia
What makes you happy? Nothing really makes me happy… (think of something you really like)… Oh, easy to think what I like. Bike. 
What makes you sad? Sophie… she always makes me sad
What are you really good at? Mostly I’m really good at handstands. I’m pretty good at handstands but not cartwheels. I gotta keep trying.

For Violet's birthday, we had a fun day at the zoo and celebrating at home with family. 

Sayings:

- (At Salamonie waterfall) "Oh my gosh! That! I'm gonna climb that!"

- "I like purple. It's my best."

- "Knock knock." "Who's there?" "Fig Newton" "Fig Newton who?" "I like Fig Newton."

- "The hat will get my hair all smoothie."

- V: "Are you making good? Will you save some for us for the morning?" Me: "Yes." V: "Good, 'cause we gonna love it!... what are you making?"

- "You're my best mom in the whole world."

- "Jesus is up in heaven. Mom, why can't Jesus put his head down and his hands down?"

- "Even when I got bigger, I still cute."

- "I love you so much, I'm gonna throw up!"

- "The song on the radio just said, "I will stand by you forever," but I wouldn't do that because I'd get tired."

What's do you like to do with Violet? Play house with her
What do you want to do when you get older? Nail salon person
What's your favorite animal? Bunny and an elephant 
Who are your best friends?  Layla and Jace and Blake and Braxton and Iris
What makes you happy? Playing outside when it’s summer 
What makes you sad? When Sophie and Brielle and Violet hurt me
What are you really good at? Riding my bike and popping my wheels

For Lyla's 6th birthday, we had a laid-back day. We went to the zoo and to our neighbor's pond and hung out as a family. 

Sayings:

- L: "What's that colorful stuff called up in the sky?" Me: "You mean the sunrise?"

- (While carving pumpkins)

L: "Mom, is this a time where we can say poop?" Me: "Yes honey. It's just at the dinner table I don't want you saying things like that." L: "Okay... poop. Poop. Poop." (Proceeds to add poop to the end of every sentence for the next 5 minutes.)

- "And when we told each other our names, we got to friend really much."

- "The mucher I eat, the grosser my burps go."

- "We really need to find a mom for David to marry."

- L: "We need to find a girl husband for David. B: "Who will it be?" L: "Maybe a blonde."

- "Thank you that our house didn't fall down and make us die." (teaching Violet to pray)
